I've never had one, but when I look at the general chat board etc there are no personal avatars only when I go onto someone's thread I can see them. If you get my meaning :-)

I know I'm not very good at explaining myself so I'll have another go :-)
When I click on the heading general chat the list of topics comes up but three aren't any pictures to the left like there used to be.
When I click on a thread that persons picture is there, so are all the people with who put answers on thread.
Does that make more sense?

there were never avatars to the left of the titles...you only see them when you go to the actual thread.
