Just a little bit of advice for information only.

When cooking up a culinary treat which involves chopping up chillis, always remember to wash your hands BEFORE going to the loo.

And there was me thinking that it was only onions that made one's eyes water.

If this is a sympathy thread, I am very sympathetic Errol.

Have never done that, but I often rub my eyes forgetting I have been chopping chillies. Not quite the yowl you must have made, but it really hurts and you can't see for ages. :-)
