Don't forget, Les, some of us are up and busy while you are in bed snoring your head off. We in New Zealand are about 11 hours ahead of you. I will be going to bed in a couple of hours or so.

I'm in Western Oz, but I still get up at 3.00am most days to go for a walk. If I do sleep in it's usually until about 4.30 - 5.00am. I then spend a couple of hours on here by which time it's midnight in the UK

Les. I rock backwards and forwards getting my right sock on too :-( :-( Then I rock most of the day after that exercise.

The way to reach 100 and still be well, according to a recent study, is to eat Omega oils every day, have no stress in your life and jog 7 miles a day. A lady I know will be 100 on Saturday and is still remarkably well (honest). She is planning to have a morning jog with all us other oldies followed by Manx kippers for breakfast ;-)

Allan in Oz. Are you gainfully employed at that time of the morning? :-S :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 20 Jun 2013 09:30

Yes he is John - he has wonderful conversations with inanimate objects :-D

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 20 Jun 2013 10:02

SueMaid :-D :-D Thanks for that.

I was kept awake for over an hour about 2am last night by the police helicopter whirring above with its searchlight prying everywhere. So I feared the nocturnal shenanigans were less innocent :-) ;-)

PH, have you been following me? :-D

Allan

Allan Report 20 Jun 2013 10:35

John, Suemaid's cryptic comments above refer to the fact that I often chat with MGBs. Sometimes the conversation is rubbish, but at others it is quite interesting.

I was going to raise an Army of MGBs, but decided against world domination :-|

ha!

Allan gets out of bed in the middle of the night to look for "glow in the dark" mushrooms.

:-D

Exercise?! I jumped up and down, bent my legs and arms every which-way, kicked & twisted, exhausting! By the time I got that bl**dy leotard on I was too tired to join the class.

:-D

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 20 Jun 2013 12:29

What are MGB's, Allan

I am guessing "Mushroom that Glow in the Bush" :-)

Allan

Allan Report 20 Jun 2013 22:05

Sorry John. It may just be an aussie term but it means Mobile Garbage Bins aka wheelie bins.

I had quite a following at one time, but life rolls on :-)

PricklyHolly Report 20 Jun 2013 22:28
