Weigh day and just one pound down but I am happy with that and will try for two next week.

I have visitors arriving Saturaday for 17 days so it will be hard as we eat out more and have more trats etc

Cooper Report 25 Sep 2013 15:58

Hi everyone,

Well I have fallen by the wayside and somehow gained 4lbs in a week. Well there were three meals out and gluten free cake, yummy but still as full of calories etc.

I know I said I would not re-join any more slimming clubs but I need a shove. A leaflet was delivered yesterday and I joined SW this morning. I cant tolerate wheat any more due to IBS but the leader was very good. She has lost 9 stone in 11 months and was in the magazine earlier this year. Her Husband also lost 6 stone.

On my scales in my nighty this am I was 11 stone. Fully clothed on SW scales I am 11.2lbs My first target is 7lbs. I'm going to do the old style red and green days and see how I go. I will be better with red days as it is very similar to the Zoe Harcombe plan which I am following but a bit lower in fat. Next weigh in is on Thursday pm due to my shifts.

I'm not out at all for food this week so hopefully it will be a good week.

Have a good weekend if I don't manage to get back on this week

Good luck Teresa, and good girl for rejoining a club. i hope you have a brilliant first week :-D

~Lynda~ Report 26 Sep 2013 10:41

Well done for the lost pound TS :-D

Teresa, good for you rejoining SW. I've been out to lunch twice this week, and once for dinner already, and although I chose less calorie foods, they weren't calorie free, but I do enjoy eating out, so if I've gained this week, it'll be my own fault, I'm back on track now, and as far as I know, not eating out for the rest of the week, unless someone invites me, then it'd be rude not to :-D

We're all doing o.k, we're losing more than gaining, so that's a bonus :-D

Have a good week :-D

well reading through everyone seems to be doing pretty good - I lost another pound on Wednesday so am now 10st 3 1/2 lb - have to get to 9st 12ib, so not far to go but this might be the hardest

made the chicken korma tonight out of the Slimming World curry cookery book - very nice but loads of ingredients and just realised I omitted the garlic and ginger - I made enough for four meals so I'll add those ingredients to it :-D

there are some lovely recipes in the book and they are mostly Extra Easy which I'm doing

our SW leader always brings along something she's made for us to try and if it's something she's made up herself she gives us the recipe

The one she made which I love is a dessert - you need a flat dish or maybe a loaf tin, put fruit in the bottom layer, then cover it with a sugar free jelly - then on the top you make up another sugar free jelly with skimmed milk, creme fresh and/or natural yoghurt and leave it all to set - it's virtually sin free and I always have one in the fridge for something sweet - you can add a squirt of aerosol light Anchor cream to it as well

~Lynda~ Report 29 Sep 2013 13:13

Like others I don't think I've had a good week this week, I have, what I call "the hungries" most of the week, fancied things that I shouldn't have, or eaten things I can have in moderation, but have eaten in excess, another couple of people at SW, who I know, have felt the same this week, wonder if it is the time of year, body wants something more substantial? Probably just an excuse for eating really :-D

I weigh in tomorrow, so that will tell, whatever I weigh, I weigh, I'll get over it. Need to be good next week, as I go on holiday the week after, and meals are provided, and I really don't want to be saying, "have you got something with less calories" That is boring :-D

Will call in tomorrow to tell you gain, which it must be I'm sure, unless of course I get my running shoes on and do a couple of marathons, followed by a channel swim to France and back, which ain't gonna happen :-D

Dame*Shelly*(

Dame*Shelly*("\(*o*)/") Report 30 Sep 2013 00:26

lol Lynda
I would swim the channel for you but I don't like getting wet :-(

I think it has got some think to do with the weather as it is getting colder we now want warm food to eat so it is another change in how diet

will have to swop my saled with cupper soup

Thanks TS and DS :-)

Im making the Chicken Korma from the slimming world book tonight Ann. My youngest is not a great hot curry fan but likes Korma. I have made Apple Crumbles for OH and Son and stewed apple for me with LF yogurt.

I hope you had a lovely holiday Paula. It seems ages since I was away.

Good luck for today Lynda.

Is everyone here at slimming clubs? I have done SW in the past and Rosemary Conley when I was younger. I think SW is better for me now. I have also got the "hungries" Maybe it is the change in season. :-)

~Lynda~ Report 30 Sep 2013 19:51

Well, don't know what happened at weigh but I LOST half a pound :-D :-D I don't feel like I've lost, but am very happy with the scales. I really must be good all week, as I go away tomorrow week for 5 days, and I will certainly put some weight on while away, but will be doing a bit of walking, so hoping it won't be much.

Glad you had a good holiday Paula, welcome back, hopefully the lbs you put on, will shift quickly.

I'm with SW Teresa, I find it a fairly easy diet, and I love the recipes, especially the ones in the SW magazine, we practically eat nightly from those recipes.

I see a man in our midst, does he want to join us ladies I wonder? :-D

have a good week everyone, stay slim :-D

Evening Ladies :-D Another half pound off, just another one and a half pounds, then I will of lost a stone, then just a few pounds more and I'll be at target :-D

Doubt I will lose next week though, as I'm off on my holiday tomorrow, I will watch what I eat, but breakfast and dinner are provided, and if they haven't got slimming meals, I ain't going hungry ;-) I will be doing a fair bit of walking around those beautiful Scottish Lochs, so that should shed a bit of whatever I put on.

Have a good week everyone :-D
