Ouch Shelly, No wonder all the Dentists have such nice cars :-D :-D :-D :-D I paid £50 for a yearly visit to the dental hygienist last week. Mind you it hasn't gone up in price for the last couple of years!

I weighed in on Thursday evening last week and lost 3lbs. My first weigh in the week before was a Wednesday morning class so I'm happy with the loss.

I hope you are having a good holiday Lynda and enjoying all the walks :-D

Ah ha, I see Merlin has popped in to see us ~~~~~~ to Merlin :-D :-D :-D

I have been on a training day today and managed to keep away from the goodies on offer.

Teresa :-)

This is such a lovely supportive thread and feel if no-one minds I will add my own experience. If you prefer me to delete I can.

In May I had a few health issues and made the decision I would seek advice on how to loose weight. It has never bothered me before, maybe I thought, I'm still young, I have years ahead of me and I like being big. And I genuinely did like being big. People who have met me on here know exactly how big I have been. I managed to get on a programme in Essex where I live run by the NHS to help me lose weight. I have been for my weigh in today I have lost to date 3 stone and 6 lbs and feel so much healthier, I have dropped 4 dress sizes and my bmi has been lowered significantly. Those who are friends of mine on fb will have followed my progress and know this hasn't been easy, but with good support I have done this. I am currently doing Choctober and this is going really well. I'm off my feet with a foot injury but I try to walk about 4-5 miles when I can. My asthma is much improved and so it the issue which caused me to start this. I wish you all well in reaching your targets and how lovely it is to see you supporting each other.
Thank you for letting me share this.

Footieangrl You are very welcome to join our happy band. Your story is inspirational you and you have every right to be proud of your achievement. You will get lots of support and encouragement here the nice thing in my opinion it is not a competition gain or lose it's ok, the support will always be there, pop in from time to time.

I am struggling at the moment at 5 lbs. above my goal, I have been on holiday and been poorly since I have been home, it's not a lot to lose, but sometimes a little can be difficult. I have started back on my fitness regime this week Yoga, keep fit and Aqua fit, so fingers crossed.

Ty Paula for the welcome and the encouragement. You are doing well as are so many others on this thread it's so lovely to see how everyone is supporting each other. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do but I keep thinking my children still have two parents. I think it's hard when you are so close to your target it almost seems unobtainable. And yet you are doing so well it is do able. I'm two pound off my second target and have had to set a new one today I have not set it so high this time. Keep going Paula you can do it in your own time.

Dame*Shelly*("\(*o*)/") Report 12 Oct 2013 02:39

TS im only 5tf 2 and as well as still being on my diet
i am now eating a little of other food like taker ways but not that much or that offen
im looking at it that if i dont start eating them that when im not dieting eny more i will just put the waight back on

so im just getting my body use to eating things that i gave up
and i can keep every think under controll as i dont plain to go under 9st
and i will then jump on the scalls once a month and not every week

well that is my plan :-D

Hello Ladies :-D Back from my holidays weighed in tonight, and I have a 3lb gain, not surprised because our meals were inclusive, and although there was a good choice, none of them were fat free.

Had a fabulous time, so I'm not dwelling on the gain, I hope to lose the gained weight over the next couple of weeks.

Hope everyone is doing well :-D
