Since my sense of smell has returned, I love all flowers with a scent, especially roses and freesias. Going into a flower shop - Wow!

Hi Rach
My favourites are Roses without a doubt.Love almost any flowers but not Lillies.
I have to cut out the stamens if I have any as the scent gives me a right headache.
Is it stamens? The bits with pollen on lol .I'm not that keen on Chrysanthemums either.
I bet your garden is looking lovely now :-D

I love just about all flowers but one of my favourites is livingstone daisies, I love the way they open their little faces to the sun.

ADDED: Musn't forget my night scented stock, not a stunner to look at through the day but the smell at night is lovely.

AnninGlos Report 3 Jul 2013 21:12

Difficult question. I love all flowers and don't really have a favourite. I love roses that have a scent, Sweet peas ditto, Freesias ditto. Yes I like Gerberas and orchids too. Then there are snowdrops and primroses, forgetmenots and irises. I could go on, I did warn you.

Has to be sweet peas, reminds me of my father who grew them in abundance. I have tried for 40 yrs without success.
