I am sure I read somewhere about cat flaps that are operated by a microchip on a cats collar. |

We had to trap a feral cat .. vicious thing that it was ... in a trap.. Got our SPCA (we don't have an R in front of our SPCA) to put it down and gave them a donation. |

Sue, I don't know about spraying the mixture around, but they don't like the taste when they clean themselves if it is sprayed on them. |

Sharron, the feral bloke that came on our property and pinched our cat's tucker and attacked all the cats in the area was far better off dead. |

Cats Protection League or another such charity, many will catch feral cats neuter them and release them back where there came from. And if in London the Celia Hammond Trust does this regularly. |

As your cats are microchipped, you could get one of the cat flaps that OneFootintheGrave suggested earlier. |

Thanks Kucinta, I wasn't aware of these cat flaps. We installed ours nearly 20 years ago before the requirements for micro chipping were even thought of. |

We have one of those radio controlled catflaps, it cost an an awful lot but worth every penny. We can set it so each cat can have a different level of access depending on whether they're allowed to go out. It has a little screen that tells you which cat is in the house and which is out, and how long they've been out for. |
