I am very sorry to hear that you are leaving the site.

We need members like you to stay but sadly all the nice ones are leaving and the ones that cause all the problems are still around.

It won't be long when all we have left are the members we don't need on here.

I do wish Genes would sort this all out before Genes is destroyed altogether,that would be very sad for me and many other members who love this site warts and all :-(

It's such a shame that you have decided not to renew your membership, Mayfield, and I'm sure there are many that feel the same.

I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL

I will look in from time to time to see how things are going, so if you do feel a strange draught or an eerie presence on the boards, fear not, it might just be me floating around in the ether. ;-)

Who knows? Maybe if things improve I might return like Bobby Ewing from the shower, or one of those arch villains that screen heroes always think they have killed off at the end of the film.

I have Ay membership int. It costs a bit more than GRu but is very dry. It reminds me of being in a St James club and having yr mobile phone ring ...shock, horror. Jokes ... no way.

The GenesRU standard membership fee is not a lot - 2 pints of beer for 6 months.

So why not stay around, you make excellent posts?
Nothing was ever changed by shutting the door. Including the batty RR system.
