My daughter said she really wishes she hadn't downloaded it to her iphone

I have been trying to load it onto my ipadmini today. I got so far and getting repeating messages saying I am putting in incorrect password and I am not, I have tried several times and eventually changed my password, it then said that my new password did not match (which they did). then had messages saying my time had expired.I have gone back over this several times. Message said try again or cancel, so I cancelled, I have now managed to disable my ipad so not impressed and certainly not happy.

Glad Ive not updated yet.Had too much going on to concentrate!

Like most things new there are bits I like and bits I don't. photos now show the date taken and the photos are bright and clear.

Icons are unnecessarily larger for apps and more 'in your face'
don't like the keyboard for Genes, but for word processing it is different and ok.

when downloading Facebook, Genes etc there used to be a large block of blue going across the screen, now it is a tiny line and difficult to spot.

I have left the password on as it doesn't bother me but may take it off later.

Pages hasn't changed.

I had a problem at first with my iMessages but OH fixed that (even though he doesn't know how he did it.

I shall stick with it in case future apps etc are not compatible with 6.

As am not very good my sil is going to sort our ipads back
to 6, lucky my OH has not downloaded IOS 7 to his mobile.

Have you tried going on iTunes with your iPad plugged in and returning to old os? it should be backed up.

I was hoping some of the tech minded people
could help on how to get rid of IOS 7.

I think it may vary according to which model you have. I've got the ipad2.

Swipe down and the iPad search box appears at the top.


Edit:- swipe down at the bottom of the screen. If you swipe down at the top you get the calendar etc.

I tried that Wend but it only came up with a google search.....I want to search on iPad

To open a new search page....click on Safari....click o the + sign and a box appears along the top .....type in your search request.....click on search or enter/return

To close down open apps and programmes that when running in the background drain the battery. Double press the home on/off button and all open programmes appear. To close them, one at a time, swipe them upwards off the screen.

Has anybody found out how to do a search yet? Two clicks of the on off button used to bring up a search box...now I find myself asking Siri who can't seem to understand plain English :-(

I have also noticed that I have not received mail on ipad since
OH downloaded it.

I prefer the previous version, this one is all too light and bright. I put a password on and took it off again in settings. I had to change the time and since changing to IOS7 I keep getting logged out of different sites which is annoying. I also changed the text to bold but doesn't it work on all screens.

Shirley it is driving me mad and OH.

He keeps getting it on his mobile but has not downloaded it.
