Liz I hope your friend will be able to manage on her oown and can enjoy her life, no one can truly know what goes on on other people's lives.

My sisters BIL married again a few years ago, he is very happy, but through his daughters he still has contact with his ex wife.

I love my hubby to bits but he really annoys me as he always messes up the pages of the daily newspaper, he lets his cup of tea go cold and uses the remote control to flit from programme to programme......hmm, apart from these irritating things, he's lovely!

My o.h.'s wife has just remarried, she has been with her new husband nearly as long as I have been with o.h. (I didn't have anything to do with the marriage break up) She lives just 5 mins drive away so we bump into her in the supermarket over the road and he sometimes calls her for info like finding out whether she has heard news of the imminent new arrival etc. It was nice to hear them reminiscing over the phone yesterday about the birth of the sons. This coming baby girl is nearly 4 days late now, hope she hurries up and arrives safely. It's a bit harded to keep in touch with the couple as they are in N.York.
