Yeh Pony was sweet and heavy but we used to feel very grown up drinking it :-D :-D

My pals and me used to drink cider with green ginger wine when we went out on the lash - often heavy on the ginger wine - oh! I can still feel those hangovers! :-P :-P ;-) :-D :-D

I have never tried scrumpy having been warned off it by my OH whose Great Uncle owned a cider orchard in Somerset when OH was a lad. :-D It is not for the weak.

OOh yes Gin and Orange, Gin and lime came after Cherry B, and snowballs were soon on the menu too. I am talking here 1957/58 to 1960

I think one of the most awful drinks I tried was bitter and blackcurrant! What was I thinking of :-0 :-D ;-)
