I've been kicked out of a cinema, and told never to come back ................... in Port Erin on the Isle of Man :-)

We were uni students on a field trip, and about 15 of us went to see this movie set in the desert.

As the Bedouin raced across the screen on the horses chasing the hero(s)................. you could see the shadow of the car with the camera on top also racing across the lower part of the screen.

At that point, some of the guys got out the coverlets they'd "borrowed" from their beds at the hotel, draped themselves as Bedouin, and paraded up and down the aisle, to our catcalls.

We were all thrown out ......................................

which meant the cinema was left empty :-)

I have been barred from a pubs, two in actual fact. The first was a pub I had never been into in my life and was told I was barred. Even when explaining I was only there for 1 night I was still barred. I was on holiday at the time and had never been there before.

The other was amusing I got barred after hours on a police leaving bash when the then boyfriend and barman decided to smack hell out of me and the police protected me. I got barred because their barman got arrested.

Any miscreant on here ever barred from a pub? Just asking - no compulsion to incriminate yourself!

In an earlier occupation, I had the dubious pleasure of issuing a few verbal warnings while wagging my finger at the alleged customer.

Great times when even the lowly thrupenny bit was respected!

Funny and simple!

I think they appealed to a certain sort of person on here and thankfully that sort of person is no longer here.

Cor some of those bans were funny I had one of a hour or 2 but didn´t realise until a couple of days later. I also had a 24 hr ban but had already walked away from the argument and didn´t realise for hours !

I can remember when bans where being given out for waving at people and a blanket ban on the boards. They were funny days :-D

Mine is May 25th, my husband said he wouldn't marry a teenager, so we chose the first significant Saturday after my 20th birthday in April.

That was my Mum's birthday.......the only date my husband ever remembers :-0
