I won't forget the sound of my granny cleaning windows!

She came on holidays with us once, and spent the whole week cleaning the windows of the place, because she couldn't stand looking at them.

Every morning we woke up, listening to hehehe (granny breathing on the window) and squeak squeak squeak as she rubbed at it with a cloth.

She made the same noise if we admired things she had in the TWO display cabinets in her "front room"....... we were NEVER allowed to touch, but we must have stood too close & misted up the glass........
