Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 2 Apr 2014 06:39

Oh Wend, poor you, having to lie still all that while. I would have been in agony with the fm if it had been me and would have had to be lifted off the thing, to hobble away like an old crone!

Mine was only about 15 mins. 1½ hrs is a VERY long time - I wouldn't have liked to keep still that long. I don't remember it being noisy, and nobody offered me music. :-( :-(

Annx Report 31 Mar 2014 23:23

Don't know about you, but even though I knew it would be noisy, when it started up it was so loud I thought it might have gone wrong!! I was expecting to smell burning wires and the magnets to come flying out!! :-0 One and a half hours is a VERY long time.....you poor thing! Good job it's done now. :-)

Mauatthecoast Report 31 Mar 2014 23:18

ah and you would have becoming dreamy too Wend?... lots of guitars with Elvis....I had to control myself from giggling :-D

Wend

Wend Report 31 Mar 2014 22:41

No, Island, I was trying not to breathe too hard as well, having read up about it. I didn't have the dye, but I have had in the past and it was quite a pleasant feeling - made me feel warm all over ;-) :-D

As for the music Mau, I asked for Classical and just when Beethoven's 'Fur Elise' started and I got a bit teary thinking about my daughter playing it on the piano, the ruddy pneumatic drills started and that was it :-0 :-P :-D

Island

Island Report 31 Mar 2014 22:31

An hour and half Wend? :-S Were you fidgeting?

I was only about 15 mins - and got the dye! Oooerr :-0

No Elvis :-(

Glad everything went well for you Wend. I've had MRI scan too, was a little scared because I felt it would be a bit claustrophobic.

Before I lay down male doc. asked me if I'd like music, I said' oh yes please'.....he played a great selection of Elvis numbers, good job I love him :-D :-D

Wend

Wend Report 31 Mar 2014 22:05

Telling me Ann - one and a half hours of lying still did it for me. Towards the end, all I wanted to do was jump up and do the 'can-can', but I couldn't :-(

But aren't those beds you lie on uncomfortable, especially as you have to lie still and for so long? :-| I had a job to get up afterwards!! lol.

I thought there were several pneumatic drills actually inside the machine Prickles. :-0

Ah, so that's why I was told to keep my underpants on, was it? :-0 :-D

Island

Island Report 31 Mar 2014 16:56

I've sussed it now Prickolls. Everybody else thinks they really did water the table so they're keeping quiet. :-D :-D

PricklyHolly Report 31 Mar 2014 16:46

Nobody warned me about the noise Wend.

I thought someone in the next room had set off a pneumatic drill.

Unlike Dottie........I didn't wee myself though!!!

:-D

I had my head done about a year ago. Afterwards they said there was nothing there except what they would expect for someone my age!!

Not quite sure how to take that!!

I only had to undress the top half and I think my wedding ring had a piece of plaster put over it.

Island

Island Report 31 Mar 2014 15:03
