	He went. I had to go back for him because we all forgot him. He sat very quietly at the end of the table where he had always sat. Nobody minded.

	Reminded me of picking up mums ashes from the undertakers. They gave them to me in a container and put it in a plastic carrier bag. I was just about to leave when the undertaker (we advertised in the same parish magazine) asked if I would do some decorating for them, so poor mum was sitting patiently in a plastic bag I was holding while we discussed the merits of wallpaper over painted walls. Bless her, I think she would have seen the funny side of it. ;-)
