Persie

:-P

It was fun to see this thread back up on the first page once again :-D

Yes, thank you, I am recovering, slowly.

I got erysipelas from a mosquito bite, was put on a regime of a very strong antibiotic at 2000mg per day for 7 days. The erysipelas cleared up. The side effects of the antibiotic took a lot longer, and as Persie said, the extreme heat we've been having finally got to me.

I think I am about 50% of the way back

Sylvia is getting better. Cynthia rang her a few days ago and today Sylvia was back for a short while on FB.

She will probably tell you all about her disastrous mosquito bite on her return, but I will say that the antibiotics knocked her into the next field and the heat was not helping. The room where her computer is housed gets very hot so she does not want to sit there for long.

Now the rest of us might have lap tops, smart phones, I-pads etc but Sylvia does not... in fact she does not have a slow cooker either... but that is another story.

I've had many such smacks My Lady. I've also been thanked once or twice for doing so. Some people do refer back to their old threads occassionally.

I too hope Sylvia gets better soon.

Sorry to hear Sylvia is not well.
Hope it is nothing serious, that she is OK and gets well soon.

HA!

I got a BIG smack on the wrist from many members because I posted on a really old thread.

I have yet to see anyone else get a similar smack.

:-P

Now for a moment I was confused there because I had seen a thread yesterday saying Sylvia was not well, so I was thinking 'oh good she must be better', it was a page before I noticed the date. So presumably Sylvia is still unwell. Hope she is better soon. :-)

OK, I'll rattle my dags :-D

What a quaint expression, and knowing something of Australian sheep (not on a personal level, of course) I can guess at the meaning :-D :-D :-D :-D

I don't know how I missed it the first time Allan, but have just enjoyed reading it . Go on ............

I know, Persie, I know :-(

If I could finish of what I start, I could probably have been a famous author by now :-0

Persephone

Persephone Report 7 Jul 2014 11:07

We discussed this problem when you were in NZ Allan.... about rattling your dags and finishing these stories of yours.

I revived the Pyrex story when Janey fell over again, even though she was not on the boards at that time.

Whilst I didn't start the thread, I did tend to take it over :-D :-D

I just need some incentive to finish it :-| :-D :-D
