I surprised hubby,who wears hearing aids !!, to keep turning it up as the sound was diabolical .

Thought too the main lady character spent too much time running around outside the mill and darting back to her loom every so often . That didnt ring true cos no way would she be allowed to desert her working area

I couldnt hear it either, thought it was because of the fan being on, not that I have had problems with any other programs.

I have forgotten what happened in the last series, may take a while to catch up

Did anyone recognise the wife of the new couple?

She was the nun, who gave up her vows and married the doctor in Call The Midwife.

I have to be honest Emma, I spent quite a time looking at her, and trying to rack my brains as to where I had seen her before. I waited for the credits to see her name, and then guggled her. She certainly looks different in The Mill.

Oh I am so glad it was not just me - I had recorded it and only a few bits could I see anyone nor hear - never thought of subtitles but will this week.
