I found myself in Poundland this afternoon and saw green packets, tee tree and peppermint. I grabbed 4 packs and then found myself in the longest queue. Half way through I glanced at my long awaited find and saw that it was for hands..............

Put 'em on a shelf and came out empty handed :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

You all found that most interesting ........ didn't you......... yawn.......

:-D :-D

Hi Barbs - Bananas aren't banned as GinN says but when I initially attended the Clinic for type 2 Diabetics we were told that banana's may increase the sugar levels in the blood and they advised if you like bananas chose the un- ripened variety if possible. I play it safe and don't eat them at all I'm afraid. :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 ;-)

GP

GinN Report 6 Oct 2014 18:47

He's not called GP for nothing, you know ;-) ;-) ;-)

I haven't eaten them for a long time myself - don't fancy them much any more :-)

A barm cake is a bread roll, folks. Am I right, Mersey? ;-) - I used to eat them in Manchester.
