Sorry Jem....been getting the carpet up...the weather here is blowy and dry at the moment..I also have washing on line...but watching for the rain.

Just come back from the tip...they are such a lazy lot there....so I went and asked for help to get the carpet into the container as you have to climb a flight of steel steps with your load...so cross :-0

Yes, all went well, thanks :-) :-) It was a lovely Humanist funeral. I like those, as you can really make them personal. And although it was a sad occasion, it was great to see my cousins again :-) :-)

Also, lovely to be back on Tyneside. I live in Norfolk, but my my heart is up there. Sitting in bed at the hotel, looking over the Tyne and it's iconic bridges was just perfect! Can't wait to go back up again :-D

Your right Gin, the containers are so large and high up..and can be a death trap in the wet weather.

The guy was actually on the top rummaging through latest dumping on top of skip..taking out things and I saw him sorting through tablets :-0 :-0

It annoys me at the tip as they just stand around and watch, you can get a nice one now and again...but the other thing they see you taking things out of the car get to the skip then they tell you its the wrong one......

People are so lazy about returning unused stuff to the pharmacy :-|

good afternoon smilers all. Hope all are well and enjoying the sunshine that we have here today. Such a nice change from the gloomy weather of yesterday.

the men at our tip are mostly very helpful so we can't complain. I always feel guilty taking medicine to the pharmacy (although I do) because I feel it should have been used not wasted.

We have been to our local garden centre today as it is oldies discount day. Bought a few bits for Christmas gifts and some daffodil bulbs.

Seeing several of you saying 'laters' reminds me of Gt grandson Luke when he leaves or somebody else does he waves and says 'laters'.
