Don't blame you for not wrapping them, will you get some shredded paper or similar to hide the gifts in? It will be fun watching him rummage,

Liz. I dug it up again to thank you all for helping. His birthday is on 6th November but I shan't be wrapping them up, there are to many and some are really small, I shall be putting them in a big box the night before so he can have a rummage. :-D

When is his birthday? It would be great if you could get a film of him opening the gifts.

Well just an update, i've managed to buy 60 items with your help so thank you all for your ideas.
Don't ask what they are cos I can't remember them all and some are really silly or useless. :-D

SufolkVera, you are more than welcome, I hope she liked the gifts but I can't take the credit for the idea, it was my cousins in Australia that gave me the idea after they bought our Uncle 70 presents beginning with the letter E.

I hope you don't mind ZZzzz but I have stolen your idea. I was racking my brains to think what I could get daughter for her 50th birthday. (How can I possibly have a daughter that old?)

I have just finished wrapping 50 individual gifts which has taken me forever. I will be seeing her tonight and will give them to her then.

Thanks for the idea. :-D

Nature - you can get special days out, bought 2 friends for their 60th birthdays a day out with birds of prey. They were able to see a hawk fly and land on their arm and feed other birds. They thought it was a great day. Got it from Virgin. They also do things around Norwich, Nottingham and Newcastle for places starting with an N so according where you live you could go to one of those.

Nature reserve.

Night away - a treat for you as well?

Night out to the theatre, restaurant etc.

A container of varieties of nuts.

Needles, Isle of Wight

Nearly new book

DVD of a film starting with N
