Thank you one and all for our kind thoughts and good advice.

SFAIK you only get one go and I have always packed in as much as possible. One downside is that I rarely know what's on the telly and am thus thought to be "out of touch". Somehow I am aware of great tv such as Fargo et "Engrenages".

Yesterday's wild weather and extortionate taxi fares plus the bumbling of the NHS will not make me forget the day in a hurry. They managed to lose (a) my mum replacing her with another of similar age and content ( who turned out to be distantly related ), (b) her paperwork and (c) her clothes. Once I got her home comfy in her armchair with monster tv on, hot sausage rolls and Yorkshire Tea I felt a tad better. That was before the next taxi bill apparently they charge extra (double) New Years Eve.

Thanks to the NHS I shall spend most of Jan in London where lack of a driving licence is no big deal. Three cheers for Uber.

My OH says I need to sleep more than 6hrs so I shall give it a go. I will also try taking senior cat for a walk :-)

At least I have my wonderful new Z5 Exoeria back to play with ... NHS confiscated it for a day as apparently not allowed. I got it back while collected aged parent ( who they had mislaid ).

They really know how to wind people up, hours staring at the wall, same questions again and again, not knowing the results of tests and doing them again. equating "mini-stroke" with utter loss of the marbles e.g. nurse attempting to lead you like a lost lamb, confiscating phone (unexpoected item in the scanning area) . No wonder I became incapable of anything except Paris argot.

In the end I managed to discharge myself before I got sectioned. Luckily I still had my wallet and so could summons a taxi.

Yes, I will take my pills except for the statins.

Happy new year
<3

you sound as if you are back to what passes as normal rollo, so that is great. Just try and do wha you have been told to do, and yes your OH is right you do need more than 6 hours sleep. Here's hoping the improvement continues and that 2016 is a good healthy year for you.
