That is very true Rambling Rose. With a lot of help from someone I found my adopted brother and sister (twins). They didn't want contact, and while I am pleased that I know they stayed together and have had happy lives, I also feel sad and guilty that I have unsettled them and their security. Through the intermediary that contacted them I have assured them that I will never seek further contact, but they can't 'unknow' that I found them. :-( |

Try a email/letter or call to the Local Wirral News/Wirral Globe if you know all the children were adopted together someone may recognise them by the first names, school friends may recall a sibling group,as they are close together in age. neighbours etc. |

Choccy, just to clarify, that's not the young man in the wedding photo is it? That's the one I discounted, his father and mother both on friends list/ |

Assuming the surname has been changed by adoption, then there is no way you can discover it by yourselves. |

For example we can find the original birth certificates of the kids in both names Mother and Father, But we have stuck finding their adopted surname? |

Are the grandparents seeking the children the father or mother's parents? |

JoyLouise There is a Jake Bowers on FB that matches the details you found on electoral roll, he does have some of the right first names in his friends list, but there are birthday wishes on their which do not match the birth qtr. So I think discount that one. |

Ale, they are older now and one or more may have reverted to the Bowers surname. |

Way is the children's dad surname, Bowers was the children's Mother surname. |

Try the same with Rachel Bowers. |
