The killer's brother in law said ' Bouhlel was not religious. He did not go to the mosque, he did not pray, he did not observe Ramadan. He drank alcohol, ate pork and took drugs. This is all forbidden under Islam.
‘He was not a Muslim, he was a shit. He beat his wife, my cousin, he was a nasty piece of work.”

Just about sums up most of the 'terrorists'.

Likewise, were all Irish Catholics castigated during the IRA bombings? No.

So blaming a particular Islamic sect for these horrific killings is just - well, lazy, and falling under the dictate of the media and presumption.

These act of terrorism have as much to do with Islam as the IRA bombings had to do with Catholicism - bugger all.

I agree Maggie, they are what ever religion is bestowed on them,,,,,,,how they conducted their lives and beliefs is entirley their own making,a RC can do as much harm and evil acts as someone who was bestowed a methodist or other.........religion doesnt make the person inside, beliefs and doctrine does..

'Extraordinary stories about the massive number of Muslims converting to Christianity are appearing around the world.

Recently at World Magazine, writer Warren Cole Smith interviewed 25-year missionary David Garrison who has documented his findings about the Muslim phenomenon.

“There is a revival in the Muslim world,” Garrison says. He believes between 2 and 7 million former Muslims have converted to Christianity in the past two decades.

His book, A Wind in the House of Islam, contains impressive research to back up his claim.

It was a slow day
And the sun was beating
On the soldiers by the side of the road
There was a bright light
A shattering of shop windows
The bomb in the baby carriage
Was wired to the radio

These are the days of miracle and wonder
This is the long distance call
The way the camera follows us in slo-mo
The way we look to us all
The way we look to a distant constellation
That's dying in a corner of the sky
These are the days of miracle and wonder
And don't cry baby, don't cry
Don't cry

It was a dry wind
And it swept across the desert
And it curled into the circle of birth
And the dead sand
Falling on the children
The mothers and the fathers
And the automatic earth
These are the days of miracle and wonder
This is the long distance call
The way the camera follows us in slo-mo
The way we look to us all
The way we look to a distant constellation
That's dying in a corner of the sky
These are the days of miracle and wonder
And don't cry baby, don't cry
Don't cry

It's a turn-around jump shot
It's everybody jump start
It's every generation throws a hero up the pop charts
Medicine is magical and magical is art
The Boy in the Bubble
And the baby with the baboon heart

And I believe
These are the days of lasers in the jungle
Lasers in the jungle somewhere
Staccato signals of constant information
A loose affiliation of millionaires
And billionaires and baby
These are the days of miracle and wonder
This is the long distance call
The way the camera follows us in slo-mo
The way we look to us all
The way we look to a distant constellation
That's dying in a corner of the sky
These are the days of miracle and wonder
And don't cry baby, don't cry
Don't cry

The punishment for apostacy is death. Makes me glad to be an atheist. AND, I am going to France for a holiday in September, so there.

Not that impressive. Only anecdotal and his word.

bob - Atheists, like Kings, Queens & Popes die just as thoroughly as everyone else.

Their human remains rot in the ground at the convenience of the greedy slithering worms.

This sort of atrocity has occurred so often solving nothing.
They don't need armies any more, just people with a death wish.
Like all the politicians I don't know the solution.

I think that all religions were invented because mankind (sorry, personkind) is terrified of death. Any thoughts on reincarnation? Now that does terrify me, imagine what you could come back as.

Not worth worrying about Bob because we can't do anything about it.
