I've had one, Belle. k reckons that they are now thin on the ground so people may be keeping hold of them in case their value increases as the first ones of the press are, apparently, now worth more than their face value.

I have a few plastic Aussie notes still from the last time we were there. our fivers seem rougher on one side and I was wondering if it was to help the blind and partially-sighted .

I heard last week that instead of making the new notes different sizes, they'd decided to make them the same size which, if there was no Braille-type marking, will make it very difficult for those who have seeing difficulties.
