Presumably you know your grandparents' names and roughly when they married. Try finding their marriage and buying the cert, that should give you both their fathers' names and occupations. Try using the freebmd site for finding the marriage. Depending on where and when the marriage took place, you might find the parish record online. This all assumes that the family is English or Welsh, you will need different sites for other countries. |
