AnnCardiff Report 30 Dec 2016 10:41

so this is roughly what I posted :-D

Whilst in M & S food hall I was by the salads when a woman alongside me looked at some coleslaw - marked deli-style coleslaw - and said to her OH - Deli, that's India isn't it - he agreed!!! I pointed out that it was not Delhi in India but deli - short for delicattessen

Another classic from son in law.

At a wedding over the weekend, there was a photo booth.
DJ provided props for all members of the Village People.
Son in law wore the Indian outfit

He loves his photo and his .. Indian Head Rest !

That reminded me of this joke Ann...........

A Chinese man that just moved to the United States goes to a bank to exchange his yuan for US dollars. He gives the teller 100 yuan and the teller exchanges it for $100. He thanks the teller and leaves.
A week later, the Chinese man returns to the bank with another 100 yuan to exchange. This time the teller only gives him $90. The man asks why he got less than last week and the teller replies "Oh, market changes and, you know, fluctuations."
Clearly offended, the man gets red in the face and yells "Oh yeah?! Well FLUCK YOU AMERICANS TOO!"

:-D :-D :-D :-D

Waits............

I remember going into a local newsagents years ago in October (important point) when in comes Mrs Dingleberry to buy a packet of turkey twizzlers or whatever brain food she fed to the little Dingleberries.

Of course, all the Christmas stock was on display and Mrs D was debating whether to start getting a few things in. She mentioned the cake to the newsagent and he suggested that she should get one while he had them but Mrs D was too astute to be conned by any newsagent.

"Ah, yes. But will it keep?"

My wi... no better not name her, was charging a mobile phone, but insisted on not leaving it plugged in when we went to bed, because she thought that when it was fully charged, the charge would leak back in to the socket.
