Jem :-0

What you got hidden under the floor? ;-) :-D

Could it be a virtual treasure trove? :-S ;-) :-D

a virtual treasure trove of mould and wet Joy! :-D :-D :-D

The wall cavities had been filled with soil and newspaper. They took all that out to solve a damp issue, and then a year later they filled the walls with cavity wall insulation! :-0

You will like this one Jem :-0 we live on a hill and the council levelled the toilet up by standing it on concrete 1 inch at one side 2 inch on the other :-S :-S :-S

JemimaFawr Report 26 Jan 2017 19:44

oh Yes Fly! Standard practise is that! :-D :-D :-D

AND ....Why use one outflow from the toilet when you can stick one into another that fits better :-D

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 26 Jan 2017 19:46

No, Joy.
We asked them to hold off, because it's a tiny house.
All the contents of the bedroom are filling other rooms while we do that.
There would be nowhere to put the cooker, washing machine and fridge while they take 4 days to do the floor :-(

Fly Report 26 Jan 2017 19:47

:-D :-D :-D :-D

It would have been easier for them to level the floor Jem it is only small :-S

JoyLouise

JoyLouise Report 26 Jan 2017 19:51

Well, I hope they do it and you get back to normal soon Jem.

Fly, a leaning loo. :-D You're right though, I think they ought to have done the floor if it is a small room.

They changed our perfectly good (only been in a few years) single glazing - for double glazing!
Now we can hear every little noise on the street and gale force winds through the gaps!
