A quick update: we are now registered with the 'pet store' vets, and dog had a check up with the vet, who was a bit reluctant to do the dental at the moment (as dog had breathing problems at the other vet practice and said the same could happen again), so she suggested we try cleaning our dogs teeth with doggy toothpaste and finger brush. Boy have we had fun with this, our dog loves the taste of the toothpaste, not so keen on the brush gentle rubbed around her teeth, - takes two of us to do it, one to hold her still while the other brushes! Think we may be on this a while lol.

We go back on Monday for the vet to check on how we're doing. :-D
