Was AWOL for much of yesterday, watching Gndson 2 play cricket. He played well and his side won so it was worth the travel and sitting around for about six hours watching. <3

Council workman turned up to strim the edges and cut the verges with his ride-on mower.
I'm not competing with his noise, :-0

Brilliant sunshine and still very windy, but actually quite pleasant for outdoor work.

Most of the family loves cricket, Gwyn. Grandson does not always do well but I’d say he never plays badly and he runs for everything because he wants to win. It was funny yesterday cos he made his partner batsman run when perhaps any other may have taken It easier. He is his Mum all over when it comes to sport though. Yesterday she was muttering about why go for one when you could have got two with a little effort - run faster kind of thing!
