	:-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3 <3 :-D :-D :-D Morning All :-D <3 Bright and sunny here, but a nip in the air. :-) Hurrah, for the first time in 8 days, I can put mascara on. I have been hiding behind dark glasses like Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard. ;-) Von mentioning blackberries always reminds me of being a kid. In the Summer we used to visit the cemetery where our families were buried. When we had laid flowers on all the graves, and there are a few, we used to sit in the little hut and have a cup of tea. There were a great many blackberry bushes running wild over the cemetery. We used to pick some and take them home, and Mum made apple and blackberry plate pie. She always remarked on the size of the berries being huge. She reckoned it was 'all the goodness in the soil'. Being a kid, I did not understand. I do now! :-0 :-0 Have a good day everyone. <3

	Morning Maddie :-) So pleased for you that your eye must be much improved and you don't have to 'hide' anymore :-D My Mum made plate pies too, but I don't remember blackberry ones. Her favourite was blackcurrant and we children would regularly have a job of picking them from the garden in summer. Our autumn blackberry picking trips to a nearby hillside usually ended up with mum making jam.
