I was interested in what you said about walking recently.
We had a long walk to junior school and even further to infant school with no other way of getting there, so walking is second nature to me.
A few years ago, daughters and I had a bone density scan.
The person doing it asked could she retake my scan.
She was surprised that someone of 'mature' years had such a good result, - better than my girls' in fact.
Was that due to all the walking perhaps ?

I did take a cardigan and light raintop to town, but as usual they just went for the ride ;-)

Lots of holiday makers out and about looking very tanned in their light summer clothes.

I had a density scan a few years ago Gwyn, it was very good. I have always walked. Remember you walked from St Pancras to British Museum? Add another couple of miles to that and that is the distance I walked the kids when we went. After walking around looking at the exhibits and a sandwich, we caught the buses back home. They were dozing off by the time we were nearly there. :-D :-D

There were travellers in a local park here about 10 years ago. It took an age for them to be moved along.

Never been to Blackpool Ann. We had Southend. :-D :-D
