	So we were on the phone for over an hour last night talking through loading the needle and getting strip ready to test etc plus the actual insulin pen. He tel me earlier to say, managed the injection fine but couldn't get much blood and the machine wouldn't work!! After me downloading the contour plus machine instructions and looking at error messages we finally found out why the machine wouldn't work. The reason is because he had been prescribed the wrong strips for the machine. They were contour, his should have been contour plus argggghhh. So he has now gone back to the pharmacy to get the correct strips and ask them to show him how to get blood out of his thick skinned fingers! Nothing is easy in this world is it! :-(
