Just been down for the papers…Tis chaos out there :-0 :-0 roads that were left at 30mp during our 1year trial of 20mph…..have now also changed to 20 :-0 :-0

Whilst I agree with areas outside schools etc and side roads being 20….main routes in to towns are a nightmare….it is really difficult to get out of 3rd gear…we will be polluting the air :-0 :-0 :-0

Sun is out and we have a gentle breeze here. I am beginning to wish I had done some washing because it would have dried quite quickly.

Ann, everyone will get used to it, I guess. One of my brothers was knocked down when he was young - not a scratch on him as the driver was going slowly, however, a lad I went to school with (District Nurse’s son) died aged about 10 when he was knocked down by a faster-moving vehicle. He was their only child and I remember it like it was yesterday. Very sad.

Joy…we have had a year of it already….but now they have introduced more roads to the 20mph limit…it really is a nightmare….the council have not even put all new signs in readiness….you still have 20 and 30 mixed together :-0 :-0

You then get the over cautious traveling at 15/18 mph and of course the frustrated driver behind who is trying to get in to your boot :-0 :-0

Not taking in to account what it is actually doing to our cars….they have just not thought it through properly :-0 :-0

They have made a stretch of road near me 20mph, it is quite a long road, I found it difficult to stay at 20 :-0 I have to say that a lot of people didn't stick to when it was 30 so it is them to blame :-P
