Heavy rain overnight, but that's now eased and it's eerily still here, at the moment.

It's very dull here and it's just starting to drizzle, think it's going to be one of those very depressing days :-(

My knee isn't too bad thanks, a lot better than it was....just sometimes I move too quickly and eek....so the answer is not to move too quickly ;-) :-D

Horrendous conditions in our area now….schools roads closed. Lots of flooding in low areas…poor peoples homes are under water in the next town….it is still coming down heavy here with no let up till the early hours according to reports.

Didn't realise it was bad in other areas of the UK :-0. Just read that there is serious flooding in Stafford Staffordshire :-0

Sounds like Tesco might need an amphibious van :-0 :-0 :-0

Had to dash…yes Tesco was 1hour late…but glad they managed to deliver. Alice has just text us….all schools closing here at 11.30 as things are getting worse. OH is having to go and pick her up….she will text Alfie and let him know his Grandad is coming.

The lighthouse in Tynemouth has been shown again with waves reaching the top. I found it very strange again a woman reporter was being battered by the weather on the quayside. Why?

The rain has stopped here and it is quite warm out.

The school drain people were here early this morning after torrential rain last night. But all seems ok at the moment. :-)

Don’t blame you Mr. M, it is awful here…loads of roads closed and police turning people back….all bus services have stopped…poor people trying to get home from work etc.

Can honestly say never seen anything like it here :-0

We are so lucky compared to some who have had their homes flooded :-(
