It was a wild night and I wondered what we would wake up to, but it didn't seem too bad about 8 ish, so I went to school as usual, as the wind was not too bad then.

School has a new mobile classroom........ pity about the roof, which is now smashed to pieces having lifted off taking a panel of the perimeter fence with it :-0 :-0
Thank goodness it wasn't a short while later, when people (and me! ) would be using the nearby public footpath, which it had 'flown' over!
Damage locally seems a bit random, as to what was destroyed, but we are safe at home.
......and now the sun is shining ! :-D

I hope you are all snug and safe.

Glad all is well Gwyn….the storm has caused a lot of damage for some poor people :-( :-(

The wind has dropped here now but the rain continues :-(
