......and the sun is shining after a dull damp day yesterday.

A family day at son's house yesterday.
He was 'on call' and had to attend to some emergency twice, while we were there- but the girls held the fort until his return.
I was a lady of leisure. ;-)
I'll see them again today.
If past years are any guide, we might end up playing board games in the afternoon. It is a much more chilled day with not the same pressure of cooking and getting everything ready at the same time......
Cold meat, pickles and salad, probably with a jacket potato ;-)

Dropped son off at Heathrow this morning. It was heaving so despite having plenty of

time most of it was spent in a queue trying to drop off his luggage. We usually have

time for a coffee but not this time. :-(

However I’ve made some bacon and leek to put in a pie with Turkey for later. Chilling

watching the films that are on. Beauty and the beast and now Ice Age 2. :-0 :-0 :-D :-D
