On a cheery note the winter jasmine is flowering profusely as is the Mahonia and a little winter clematis which is covered in white bell shaped flowers :-D :-D

Thank you everyone for your kind birthday messages.
Family are all doing their own thing today and I will collect stuff together for bin collection tomorrow.Might even cook up the turkey bones to make soup, before I throw them too.

It's wildly windy here, but dry.I'm staying indoors.

I now have two unopened cakes. They will keep. Anyway the cake looked lonely on its own in the basket, so I bought mince pies too. :-D :-D

The storm seems to be gathering apace. I see that the route between St Pancras and Luton has stopped. I pity the people trying to get a plane journey. :-(

I was listening to the Radio this evening and so many people were phoning in saying they were listening to then Radio stuck in traffic that was either at a standstill or crawling :-(
