I believe that Gilbert and George live around there somewhere.

There was a cracking picture of Martins Bank in Lombard Street posted earlier…..I flew over and dropped right outside of the building. :-D :-D first time lucky…it is amazing to see how things change…..also how dirty most of the buildings were with all the coal burning etc :-0 :-0

We have a dual carriageway at the bottom of our road and The Mayor in his wisdom has put a bus lane in each carriageway so there is now only one lane for cars...the bus lane is 24/7 :-| :-|

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 4 Mar 2024 19:39

I wouldn't mind but there are only two bus routes that go along there. My friend was stuck in a queue the other day and not one bus passed her :-| :-|

We have one road like that. It connects Kings Cross to north London.

It was always dual each way. But now, it has a cycle lane each side, a full width, so all the cars and buses are now single file. There is so much traffic along that road, and it shunts along slowly at peak times. :-| :-|
