Well it wouldn't be too much trouble because he will find the course very easy and you are a very supportive wife. Thanks Jo. I'm off now for an ice lolly xx

We could do with that but its trying to persuade him. I've been on at him for ages to do it. He has a health problem and changed his job about a year ago, which is lot less money but he is happier now and less strain on his health. He is convinced that he does not have the talent but he is an excellent tradesman and know he could do it. Jo

Sorry I forgot to say I have never met either of the Lewis's but was told about the youngest one by my Dad whose Mother told him about her brother, Lewis. Jo

Well re your hubby I get 'lot more money coming in' if he does the qualification.

jo

jo Report 19 Jul 2006 17:11

I have tried telling him this but to no avail. Perhaps Elliott should take up the lessons again, he was told when he was younger that he was a natural. Jo

Well I think Lewis is telling me all this. He feels that hubby is very talented at this and if goes on a course and gets a qualification he will go far. He also thinks son should have proper guitar lessons. Was one of the Lewis's interested in teaching before they died?

Yes, he is trying to show the other men the correct way to fit and make things, I think he gets a bit frustrated with them!! Jo

jo

jo Report 19 Jul 2006 17:04

Not that Im aware of but if thinks it would help him he would. Jo

Is he thinking of going on a course?

jo

jo Report 19 Jul 2006 17:01

His role is not teaching as such but he is working with some people who do not have the knowledge he has and is trying to help them and show them the way. Jo

Somebody can or wants to play the guitar.

jo

jo Report 19 Jul 2006 16:56

My husband does not play an instrument but loves most types of music, my youngest son used to play instruments and adores music. Jo

Thanks for that jo. Sometimes I can't tell if they are here or not. Someone is showing me all this but I know I am with you now. Is your husband musical?

jo

jo Report 19 Jul 2006 16:51

Sorry Louise I have no idea. The bit about the young boy who was special needs and eye problems. My youngest son had problems with his eyes and attended special school for 10 years but he is of this world. Jo
