LOL Sally I originally put this thread up because I know I'll almost certainly be asked why I'm doing it and possibly why people do it in general so I thought I'd ask and get some reasons rather than just guessing. However, this thread has some really diverse reasons many I would never have thought of in a month of Sundays. I'm glad I put it up because I've really enjoyed reading it and would like to thank everyone who has contributed, including any who may contribute after this post, for a interesting thread. |

Hi Cat person I became interested in my ancestors almost 10 ten years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was asked the usual things....'your age?'....46 'Any family history?' 'Uuuhhh...nnn...no...don't think so' Apart from a few names I knew nothing about my family history. So I decided to search and hence...became addicted to genealogy. I still haven't found any history of breast cancer. love Trifley |
