Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 18 Mar 2006 21:49

Hi Gwen and Joy, yes we kept a good look out for you all day - I even went up to one woman and sed 'excuse me, is your name Joy????' I think she thought I was completely mad! Still, I'm used to that! Had the kids looking out for a woman with red stripy hair and a walking stick lol. The kids were very well behaved and really enjoyed the day. Jamie was soooo funny with the magician - I did take a couple of pics of the soldiers, magician and kids with Aunty Jean - will bung them up tomorrow, too tired tonight! I have got about 3 trees worth of leaflets to sort through! So much free stuff given out, great ideas for days out and lots of sites I had never heard of. Will definitely try and go again next year, but would hope for warmer weather! Maz. XX best bit of day though was the footie score Jean!!

Sorry not to have met up Joy. I must say I had no idea it would be so spaced out and crowded. Maybe another time and we can make better arrangements. Jean x.

Gwen... I can't believe we missed you ... we were just sitting inside the door of the room where the kids things were going on. Did you see the magician... if so the last little boy he had helping him was Jaime, Maz' son. He was a proper star and had everyone in fits of laughter. Jean x.
