DO YOU WANT A TREKKING POLE - I have been offered 20 at £6 each - they are three section, anti-shock trekking poles. This superb trekking pole, which is made from 6061 aluminium alloy and weighs just 310g per pole, features comfortable, moulded handles and adjustable wrist straps. A useful additional feature is a small compass set into the top of the handle. With three sections, the trekking pole is fully extendable from 65 to 135cm, to suit your height and the walking surface. There is an extra, anti-shock facility, which can be turned on or off. This feaure offers reduced strain and enhanced comfort. At the base of the trekking pole is a performance basket, designed to prevent sinkage in soft ground or snow. At the end there's a sturdy, alloy trekking tip for mountain use, and a removeable rubber ferule for everyday use.

As a Thank you to GR for allowing this thread and the Great Wall one, plus the fact that without it we would NEVER have met and created this challenge I have asked if they mind us dedicating a day on the trek to them..... just means free advertising for them but hey!! They have kindly said they will let us have some T-shirts and I would like to take this opportunity to thank them! Pink xx
