*lift doors open* Good grief what a mess. Is that flour on the floor? These maids are a total disgrace. And there are wires hanging out everywhere. Where are the workmen? *Tip toes through the mess towards the bar* Gwynne

Guinevere Report 24 Feb 2005 17:39

*presses lift button with long red fingernail* At least this is working. Those workmen are a disgrace. I distinctly ordered 'young and willing' these do not fit the bill. Gwynne

David

David Report 24 Feb 2005 17:38

David walking across to the garage complex, happenes to look through the window and see's Mrs Houty touty Dorothy looking at him, thinks gosh she looks a bit tasty, and walks straight into a tree, picks himself up swearing loudly, were are those maintanence men they have'nt touched these garage doors, goes storming off to the reception to find helen and ask if she had given them the message he left with her last evening, then see's some posh tart looking round thinks he had better make himself scarce for a while. Miss Dorothy makes another note on her pad. Sits back in her chair, takes out a gold Cigarette case and lights a Sobraine cigarette, drawing thoughtfully, she sips her wine ..... and then another note on the pad. . . . (and thinks ....) That Prissy Douglas has done well for herself. Mmmm clever girl, wonder where she's based. She might be a good source of information on getting some more staff - could be a good ambassadress for the Complex too - turned out very attractive too in perhaps bit of a ''power-dressed'' way, but sure she's got a soft side (smiles to herself) we all have when the moment is right. Now!! I must be on my way - no sign of Jenny or Gwynne yet, so I'll continue on my own I guess. Makes another note ....'''arrange meeting!'' and makes her way back out into reception

*applies final layer of mascara* Well, let's see what progress has been made today. I think I must have a virus as I fell asleep this afternoon. *totters towards door on very high heels* Gwynne (ents)

Bec Report 24 Feb 2005 17:26

'Well the Complex cannot really be inspected until it is complete... I have noticed a couple of odd job men wandering around but not much being done... I am a busy woman Miss Dorothy, I have no time to wait around. So I shall leave you be for now... but be warned... I shall be back again!' Prissy Douglas stalks out of the bar, nose in the air eyes straight ahead...

I think you probably arrived a little prematurely, I only got here myself last night. Dr. Longlegs and our excellent Entertainments Manager got here ahead of me and started recruiting. We appear to have some excellent personnel, some of whom of course I've known at other venues. There is an excellent Housekeeper - Jean something - she always had an excellent reputation for looking after the customers' needs, as well as having a very reliable work force with her - amazingly attractive girls considering what they were employed for ... anyway, we also have the Head Gardener from our other Complex in Cape Verde which is being re-furbished internally at present. Oh and I mustn't forget the excellent Chef, Lindy, did a lot of her training in the Algarve I seem to remember. . . . . (Looking out of the window over Prissy's head, she sees the Security Guard David making his way across to the Garage complex) ....... sorry, what did you say Prissy, I was just looking outside ....... she makes another note on her pad ''pagers''!! No, do carry on, my mind was thinking of something else - (laughs), just keep making notes you see ......

TO Bumpy What is that man doing wandering about not doing anything? Is the Beauty Parlour open now then? I thought we weren't open for business until we had fully stocked up, and we have no guests yet! Is he a maintenance man? Will you ask The Manageress to contact me later and explain what she's doing. Thank you Now, Prissy - where were we ......?

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 24 Feb 2005 16:57

Ah ''hello'' let me think ''' Prissy isn't it? Long time no see, shall we go in here (indicating the bar) and nodding to Bumpy Now, what got you into this game? Inspecting ..... not really your style surely? McCLuskey - oh, mmmm no real business-head I'm afraid, couldn't afford that luxury at the time - but pleasant fellow - but I moved on - more judiciously, if you get my meaning - any way, widowed now. So, what have you seen so far?
