They do lovely Xmas cards too I have my own thoughts about the war in Iraq but I feel so much how the kids, when they come home, are just left to come to terms with what theyve seen. Next weekend, my son and some of his friends are hoping to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge. This entails climbing the 3 highest peaks in Wales, England and Scotland in 24 hours. They have chosen a cancer charity to benefit from their efforts. I hope it's not too hot , but being a firefighter he'll be used to that. On July 16th I'm taking part in the Cancer Research UK bike ride in Milton Keynes, which is part of their 'get on your bike' campaign. It's a 12 mile cycle ride, which should be reasonably challenging for me, as I haven't ridden a bike for a few years, and not regularly since I was at school.
