who was your fav group in the 60s? mine was the Beatles, i had there pics all over my bedroom walls! you could'nt see any wallpaper!!! my dad decorated my bedroom once and said "no more pictures on the wall"! and what did i do--------yep, i put them up again--------------gradually!! well----i had to see John Lennon before i went to sleep didn't i !!!!!!! he was my fav. i was even in there fan club! now come on! any teenagers from the 60s out there? ok, so you'll give your age away! i have!!!!! chris.

Well I wasn't quite a teenager, born in 1961, but I remember loving The Monkeys and Peter Noone from Herman's Hermits. Another one I liked was Kathy Kirby but know one I mention her to has ever heard of her! Christine

Kathy Kirby, i remember her too! and Alma Cogan, my dad liked Jim Reeves, and sing somthing simple on the radio every sunday night about 6 o clock, anyone remember that? chris.

I was born after the 60's,but still love their music. I don't think Ireally have a fav though. I love all 60's music.

Lynda sorry to tell you but Ray Charles has aged a little bit, he just died! Kathy Kirby I remember for her lipstick. Her "secret love" was OK but nobody can match Doris Day! (twas from Calamity Jane of course) Bob

christine i remember sing something simple and i think it was folowed by the black and white minstrals when that finished i knew it was time to go to the palias de dance were it was 2-9( 15p) to get in and we used to sneak bottles of pony in cos it said they had a kick knew that when we woke up next morning aaaahhhh

we used to go to a club when i was 16, you had to be 18 to get in, so while we were waiting in the que we would be counting on our fingers to work out what year we were born to make us 18, incase they asked!! we always got in tho'!! and it did'nt finish till midnight!!!!! oh,so late!!!! we thought it was great tho'!!! and we would run to get the last bus home. think it was 2/- to get in, and they had flouresent lighting and if you wore white, wow did you stand out!!!! like the omo advert. chris.

Margaret, i was'nt to keen on the rolling stones either, loved all 60s music,but the Beatles were my idols, and when they split i had a craze on the Monkeys. chris.

the walker brothers!!! you've just jogged my memory! i went to see scott walker at the Empire in Liverpool when i was 16 or 17, and the paper dolls were on to,anyone remember them? why i went to see him i don't know! was'nt keen on him! think it was just the thought of seeing someone famous!! so i could say: oh yeah, i've seen him in person! chris.

I liked the everley brothers and billy fury, my bedroom walls and ceiling were covered in pics. jenny
