Skeeter Davies - The End of the world

Status Quo are playing live at Epsom Reacecourse this Thursday evening after the race meeting. I can't afford a ticket, but hopefully the wind will be blowing in the right direction and I will be able to hear them and rock away to my hearts content in my back garden. It's only about 800 yards away from the stage as the crow flies. My neighbours already think I'm mad - this will just prove it! LOL Sue

My favourite group was 'Jonhy Kid and the pirates' and the 'Herd' as stood in for both their drummers on live gigs. Joy, if you knew Dave Bowie you must be from Beckenham? Regards from an old muso'.

I love to go awandering Along the mountain track And when I go, I love to sing My knapsack on my back Valderee, valderah, Valderee, valderah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, Valderee, valderah, My knapsack on my back I love to wander by the stream That dances in the sun So joyously, it calls to me Come join my happy song Valderee, valderah, Valderee, valderah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, Valderee, valderah, Come join my happy song [Play it Jeffrey!] Overhead, the skylarks wing They never rest at home But just like me, they love to sing As o'er the world we roam Valderee, valderah, Valderee, valderah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, Valderee, valderah, As o'er the world we roam another classic.. the happy wanderer --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
