I read that bit about seven grandchildren Susie ,is that wishful thinking i detect?wait till you have fourteen of the little darlings. it get,s really interesting when about six turn up together with their parents, when it,s raining and they are running round in doors screaming their little heads off ,i love it once i have taken a couple of headache tablets. I do love it though ,it,s the only time the missus makes the bread pud ,tattie cake and trifleand i can sit down and enjoy a bucks tea,the only thing i miss at this time is the lardie cake ,i love it but the doc has strictly forbidden me to eat even one slice[sigh].however the tattie cake [a northern dish] makes up for it ,and it isn,t at all bad. Fred.

The last place I lived before moving to Brighton was Wallington in Surrey, although I classed it as London. I dont get to Wycombe much these days my family tend to want to meet down here so they can spend the day having fish and chips on Brighton Pier lol

Gaynor, good story about that - new mobile phone + breakdown service needed for car yesterday don't mix. Think they thought we were nuts when we said we don't know the number. Plus we didn't know what road we were on - we knew what it was called a few years ago though. Get back to you with the number
