Morning everyone. Was on early this morning to wish you Happy Birthday Jill as I could not sleep!!

Sylvia sorry to hear that you are having trouble must admit I would be too. Have they suggested a bag instead? might in the long term be easier and less traumatic especially if the damage to your bladder is permanent. I know which option I would go for, but I know I would have terrible problems with the catheter!!
Your granddaughter should be so pleased with her mixer, I use my small Kenwood mixer so much!

Weather here OK but no where near as nice as yesterday!!

Have a good day all of you,

happy birthday Jill Have a great day

Sylvia, I hope you manage to work out how to use the catheter soon. It must be very lowering, not only the pain of cistitis but having to do something unpleasant to solve the problem. Thinking of you and hoping you feel better soon.

God evening to you all.
Hope you have all had a good weekend and that the weather has not been to bad.
The Baptism we went to yesterday was lovely and the meal afterwards was very good, will be eating there again very soon.
All the lambs are doing well including the orphaned ones , they go for a walk around the field with us as they are not too sure about the other sheep.
Cannot wait to see Kelly and Rémi tomorrow, will be interesting to see the changes after not seeing him since Christmas.
Catch up with you all soon

xx Jill

Hi all,
I would love to see Jill's lambs and to see them springing around after their new mum. It will be nice for Jill to have her granddaughter around her on her birthday.
Yes, Ann, where does time go to? My granddaughter is 25, or is it 26, next Sunday and we will be asked to go on Saturday so she can have all her friends around on Sunday, which includes her new boyfriend.
She wanted a mixer for her birthday and I found a good secondhand one (Braun) on Marktplaats (like Ebay) and Johan and I went by taxi to pick it up yesterday. It was more than an hour's drive but the weather was gorgeous.
I am afraid I haven't felt like doing ATC cards for a while, but will get down to them again soon.
Last Friday I was with the nurse who was trying to teach me how to insert a catheter into my bladder. I thought I was doing ok until I came home and have to do it myself. I could sit and cry sometimes.
They seem to think that the Radiation treatment I had after my first cancer op maybe damaged the bladder. Anyway the bladder doesn't work and therefore I have constant cystitis.
When I have got the hang of this business of emptying my bladder Johan and I are going away for a few days. I've picked a date when neither of us have hospital appointments.
Even though I don't always write I am thinking about you girls.

Jo, thanks for that.

Jill, the lambs sound adorable. I am sure you will enjoy your time with Remi, they don't stay tiny for very long so make the most of it. My first 'baby' grandson is now 19 and towers over me, as do the second and third and the fourth is not much shorter than me either!!!

Good evening to you all and have received my lovely ATCs, many thanks to all involved in the swap.
Lambs are doing very well and just bottle feeding four, the orphan two, now called Lucy(after her mum) and Lottie follow me all around the field. They don't understand why the other lambs have mums with four legs when their mum walks on just two :))))) As soon as they hear my voice they start calling for me and they are so cute.
The day seem to fly past as making bottles every three hours and then spending time with the little ones trying to get them to go out into the field and mix with the other lambs.
Kelly arrives on Monday with Rémi so another baby to cuddle:)))Rémi is 9 months on the 1st and I am sure I will see a big difference .
Hope you are all keeping well and having a good weekend

xx Jill

Evening everyone, hope you are all OK

Jill sounds like you are having a very busy time at the moment with all the lambs to look after, still they all sound like they are doing well.

Sylvia, sounds like my sort of weather!! I just love the snow, we never seem to have enough.
Still the weather here today has been lovely, very sunny but very cold.

Received my ATC's they were lovely as always, so many different ideas.

Think I need to go bed now, have had a very busy day.

Good morning all, a bit grey over here but all seven lambs doing well.
Feeding four and two of those are orphans or will be soon, so have seperated them from their mum and I shall be mum to them. One of them has alredy decided I am her mum and follows me about, so thats another couple of pets for us :)))

Will be joining in the ATC swap, will def make some time between feeds.

Hope everyones keeping well

Morning ladies.

Hope you all had a good Easter.

Jill, seven lambs, how lucky you are.Hope they are all doing well and you are managing to get a rest between feeds :)
Sylvia, the weather and traffic have been just as bad over here.We went visiting on Saturday and had to do an hours detour just to get the other side of the motorway, which usually takes 15 mins.As for the weather, snow most of weekend now rain :(

Just a little reminder -

April atc's theme is 'Weather' (very apt at the moment)
can you please email or leave a message here if you are signing up for the swap.Thank you.
March atc's have been posted though overseas ladies, they will take a while longer to get to you.

....I'm dreaming of a white Xmas, yes, but not a white Easter. Snow,. snow and more snow here.
Johan and I were going with the taxi to the north of the Netherlands today but cancelled the taxi when we heard the traffic news. Lots of accidents and long queues. No, we'll stay at home until it is over.
I have bought a Braun food mixer on Marktplaats, which is like E-Bay. I have bought this for my granddaughters birthday next month. It is a machine which has hardly been used and I have it for half the price. I bought myself one a couple of years ago and got rid of my Kenwood.
It is this machine which Johan and I were going to pick up today, but will probably fetch it on Saturday.
The weather is supposed to be getting warmer.
I have had quite a peaceful Easter and plenty of time for myself, which makes a change.
Now see you all tomorrow.

Good morning ladies, hope Easter went well for you all.
We did lose one of the twins born Friday but the other five all doing well. We had a shock yesterday as Lucy , our really old pet ewe, who is living out her life in the orchard, gave birth to twins yesterday. Can only think that the ram got to her when he jumped the fence, we thought we had removed her in time but no, the results are here.
I am helping Lucy with her lambs and one has adopted me as mum :))) We now have seven lambs and at the moment we are only feeding three so not so bad.
Ann, white fluffy lambs, I wish :))) more dirty grey :))))
Did get all the invitations for Rémi's christening done over the weekend so not too bad on the crafting front.

xx Jill
