Thanx ladies so much

I managed to get threw Christmas Day it was calm and peaceful

I feel the tablets r kicking in

I've decided now Christmas is over and done with I am going back go do my family tree again as I haven't done anything in ages and I've bought the new family tree maker 2014 as that comes with 3 months free ancestry so when that comes I'm gonna be busy busy busy lol

Michelle, I hope Christmas was better than you expected and that you are still feeling more calm in yourself.

Carole, it is good to see you posting on here. I like Facebook for keeping in touch but this, as you say, feels more personal.

I hope everyone had a peaceful Christmas. :-) <3

Well that's Christmas over! A difficult time for many.
Tinkers I really think your tablets have kicked in now. With them and the help your husband gives and here you have turned the corner. You're not on your own, you have support behind you at home and here. With this help you can get better. And you will!! :-D
It doesn't just come to you though. You have to work at it. We all know this and will give you gentle encouragement.

Mary your visit to Dominican sounds amazing. Well done. I'm sure your involvement opened your eyes. It has mine. I just thought of it as a holiday place that people who have been there say is beautiful.

Liz, hows your problem? We haven't really talked for ages. Facebook is great but I like this as it seems more like our space. A group chat rather than one to one.

We must remember not to put information on here that could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

Sorry you are in pain and feeling frustrated but you should feel proud of yourself. You made the effort and went to the party (and the panto a few days earlier) and that's what matters. You're doing very well; just keep focussing on the things you have done in the last couple of weeks and stay positive. You are moving forward all the time.

Best of luck
Vera

tinkers, I am sure taking the little one to a panto will cheer you up a bit, no one can be down watching a child enjoy panto.

Doing your shopping at silly o'clock is agreat idea to avoid crowds and hassle, I might even do that myself now you have mentioned it.

One day at a time, and try to find something to be happy about each day, like the panto etc

You will get there!

Glad things are just a little easier for you. It's good that you can be positive. You are moving forward all the time. As Liz says, try and make Christmas a special day for you and your OH, and you will really feel you've achieved something.
