Find Living Relatives

Hi,
Any help would be appreciated here. For a friend I am trying to trace Henry George James Groombridge who married Yvonne Elizabeth Tucker. I believe Henry is known as Harry and born around June 1938 in the the Middlesex or Sussex area. He married Yvonne around 1959 to 1962 but cant find any free BMDs to confirm it. Harry Groombridge is a double bass Jazz musician and lived in the Brighton area. They had 2 daughters, Karen Elizabeth Groombridge in Sep 1961 and Tina Elizabeth Groombridge around 1962 both born in Brighton. Tina was adopted to become Tina Castleton. Yvonne remarried and had a daughter Tracey Elizabeth Langridge and Harry remarried and had a son Simon Richardson.
Again, any help is really appreciated!

The marriage between Yvonne and Henry is on Ancestry in Sussex in 1959.

Liz, my friend and myself have tried all avenues, and find this is the last resort. Rose, the link you gave me is one of the previous attempts to find him but no joy. His mothers maiden name is Hall so you are spot on I think.

Looking for Henry George James Groombridge, DOB June 1938 & Yvonne Elizabeth Tucker. Brighton area. Henry known as Harry and Double Bass Jazz musician. He was the bass player in the London movie "The frighteners" in 1965. He was son to Henry R Groombridge & Gertrude J Hall from Kensington area and brother to Annette Carson (nee Groombridge).

Why did his son have the surname Richardson?

Hi Rose, I don't know the real reason his surname is Richardson, just hunches. Its not Yvonne we are looking for but Harry Groombridge, do you know anything about him? My friend is from the first marriage so no details on the second.

I think I have found Henry (Harry) George James Groombridge parents as per Rose' comment. Henry Richard Groombridge born Edmonton, Middlesex 1894 and passed a way Willesden, Middlesex 1960. Married to Gertrude Hall in 1937 Kensington.
Harry married Yvonne Tucker in 1959 in Brighton then later married Diane M Cooper in 1965 in Westminster, London. Still looking for more info if anyone could help? :-S

If you google "The Frighteners 1965" there is some information about the production. Some members on this site have Karen and Tina in their trees. Perhaps they could help you find Harry.

Thanks Liz, I'm doing this for my friend Karen. Her sister is Tina and they have tried for years to find him. He seems to have vanished! :-S

Looked on 192.com. Not finding H G J Groombridge, H Groombridge, Henry Groombridge or Harry Groombridge in Brighton, London or the South East of UK.
Saturday edition of a national newspaper, Daily Mail, has a "Missing and Found" feature.Email to [email protected] including a contact phone number. Small donation requested for employing Gill Whitley's services.

I tried 192.com, google, facebook, myspace, bebo, etc but no joy either. I will get onto the Daily Mail though, thank you very much for your time, effort and suggestion!
